Old habits...

Daniel loves the Baby Mozart DVD, and whenever he sees the Baby Einstein logo he points to it and says, "Baby Mozart -- Baby Mozart!" This morning I tried to help him understand that the picture is not actually of Mozart as a baby, and let him know that the picture is actually called Baby Einstein. After watching me point to it and call it Baby Einstein, he took another look at it and said "Baby Einzart?"

Charming Robot

Joshua has been very interested in robots lately. He chose this robot icon for his Windows Vista desktop. Jake sat down with him at the computer the other day to look up pictures of robots on Wikipedia. They found many pictures of interesting robots, including this one that was serving drinks:



I thought it was kind of funny and made a few offhand comments about it. Imagine how charmed I was the next morning when this little robot asked if he could serve me a drink:



After I accepted and thanked him, the robot even moved its orange top to say "You're welcome!" I loved it!

New computer!

Our new computer arrived yesterday and it soon became clear whose computer it really is:

Joshua awoke last night at 3am to use the bathroom. He came and got me to tell me how excited he was about the new computer. He said he loves that he can play his favorite games and "they're so fast now!" I was surprised by his coherence at 3am.
