Water Park!!!

I'm trying to get started blogging about our trip to CA last month.  Since we've gotten back we've been so busy with day camp, swim lessons, violin lessons, etc. it is challenging finding any time to hop on the computer.  But here is my attempt!

It was over 100 degrees during our first several days in California. We knew swimming was the only way we'd get to spend some time outdoors so we tracked down the Antioch Water Park. WE LOVED THIS PLACE!!!  It was so perfect for a family like ours, for our kids' ages. We loved it so much that we talked my brother John and his family into going back with us on another day. Our kids are all the same ages and everyone had a blast. We basically had the time of our lives at this place, so lots of pictures to follow:

Caden went down this slide an infinite number of times, it was the cutest thing!

Here's a long shot so you can see that it wasn't just a wimpy little slide.  Pretty brave for a two-year-old, I think!

These lily pads were challenging to get across.  Joshua did it without too much trouble and Daniel was able to make it across after a couple of attempts.  We were proud of him/them.
