Conservatory of Flowers

After the boys were done pestering the statue we headed over to the Conservatory of Flowers to have a look inside. The plants were gorgeous with really vivid colors I even managed to capture somewhat. Plus, they were featuring an exhibit on carnivorous plants so Jake was thrilled and the boys were plenty interested.

Lucas made friends with this turtle

I love the way his shirt picks up the greenery

Daniel was intrigued by the Ghost Cactus on the left.  He thought the Pencil Cactus on the right was neat too.  He just didn't feel like being photographed with them.

Can you spot Jake holding Caden somewhere in there?

I can't remember what these are called but aren't they fantastic?

Actually, the exhibit was about poisonous plants, not carnivorous ones. The name of the exhibit was "Wicked Plants: botanical rogues and assassins", and is there until the end of October:

The exhibit had a Victorian theme, which made it all the creepier.
