Stewart Falls hike

We spent a week at Aspen Grove celebrating my parents' 50th Anniversary. We all had the best time! One of the highlights was when Jake and I went on a date/hike to Stewart Falls. All our kids were being tended/involved in their age-groups for the morning (including baby!) so we took advantage and went on a hike just the two of us :) We had a great conversation the whole time during which I learned some new things about my husband and his past dating life (!) which led to a discussion of things we want to teach our boys to help them date successfully when the time comes. All in all a fabulous time.

I love this one!  A nice lady took it for us.  And in case you're wondering why Jake's shirt is shorter than mine...it's kind of a funny story.  Our niece Erin made the reunion t-shirts which were lots of fun but somehow when they all got passed out Jake ended up with a Youth Large instead of an Adult Large.  There wasn't much to be done about it and when I told him I liked how it emphasized his broad shoulders he decided to stick with it ;)

Love the view!
